Information about Balerno Village Screen:
Formed in 2012, Balerno Village Screen (BVS) shows films in the church halls of Balerno Parish Church. It raises money for the community and provides companionship and cohesion across the village and surrounding area. The cinema is free to attend, with any donations raised (after operating costs) directed to support good causes in the community. The project is run by volunteers. BVS equipment is also used to support other activities in the village e.g. Parent Teacher Association discos, funeral relays and other private events.

Balerno Village Screen applied for funding towards an upgrade of the audio visual software system to improve the stability and quality of the audio visual experience.
Feedback:
The sound system was successfully upgrade with support from Marin at Black Light Media and BVS has been able to continue to show films to the community.
