Information about Currie Star Football Club:
Currie Star Football Club is a local football club with bases in Balerno, Currie and Kingsknowe, providing football facilities to boys and girls primarily from the catchment area, from ages of 5 to 19. All of the teams are run by volunteers who give their time to coach teams, fundraise and undertake admin roles in the teams and club.
Information about the project:
The under 15 team (Currie Star Blues) were raising funds to purchase new playing kit for the following season and and applied for an award to help with costs.
Feedback:
The Pentland Community Chest award paid for a significant part of the new kit for the team.
