42nd Pentland (Currie) Scout Group – Purchase of 10 pull up banners and some coloured training bibs

Information about 42nd Pentland (Currie) Scout Group:

The 42nd Pentland (Currie) Scout Group is part of Scouting and as such contributes to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Information about the project:

The Scout Group requested funding to buy some pullup banners and coloured training vests to be used at camp and at other organised events. The pull up banners help with campsite organisation and the bibs are used to place scouts into groups.

Feedback:

The banners and bibs were put to good use at Pentjam (a large camp involving all the Scout Groups in the Pentland District). There were 650 people at this Camp so having the banners to pinpoint certain areas when there were so many tents up were a huge help. The different colours of vests again made it easy to identify members of groups if they strayed away from their main group.
