Information about Pentland Gymnastics Club:
As a Scottish Gymnastics affiliated club, Pentland Gymnastics offers a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for children and young adults to learn gymnastics (both artistic and rhythmic) and progress through a structured pathway from recreational to competitive. In addition, the club has a dedicated, highly skilled and qualified coaching team with strong parental support. At the time of its application, the club had 180 gymnasts, aged Primary 1 onwards, who trained in Currie and Balerno High Schools. In addition, the club provided free gymnastics sessions to cluster primary schools and offered a volunteer and coaching pathway, allowing senior gymnasts to become leaders and helpers within the club.
Information about the project:
The club wanted to update its logo to reflect the introduction of boys to club membership in 2021 and the Pentland Community Chest provided funding for this.
