Information about Juniper Green Tennis Club:
Juniper Green Tennis Club has two tennis courts which are open for booking by members from 10am-8pm seven days a week during the tennis season. With the help of their club coach, they run a number of group classes for children on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. The club also offers free coached social tennis for adult members every Friday morning and the courts are used, free of charge, for a coached over 50s tennis class each Thursday afternoon, which is open to members and non-members alike. During the Easter, summer and October school holidays, the club coach organises tennis camps for children.
Juniper Green Tennis Club also hosts at least two social events each year for the wider community: an Open Day to encourage membership (a critical source of revenue to cover the operating costs), and a summer BBQ to thank the members and the local community for supporting the club. Free fun tennis activities are provided at both events for children and adults.
Information about the project:
The tennis club requested funding to purchase a replacement shed for the storage of maintenance equipment, the previous shed having been broken into and vandalised during the winter months when the club was closed.

The new shed was purchased and erected on site, providing a secure home for the court maintenance equipment.
