Information about The Mill at St. Joseph's:
The Mill at St. Joseph’s is a community cafe. It provides a safe, warm place for locals to meet and enjoy the cafe’s refreshments and it provides refreshments for some community groups. The cafe provides volunteering opportunities for local school children supporting the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and it donates any surplus funds each year to local charities chosen by the volunteers.
Information about the project:
The Mill had been storing and displaying baking in a refrigerated display unit which was donated to the cafe some years ago. The unit is essential to the operation of the cafe as the fresh baking is hugely popular with its customers but unfortunately the unit was no longer functioning needed to be replaced.
Feedback:
The refrigerated display unit was replaced and the Mill is able to continue to off fresh cakes to its customers.
